In order to provide our patients with the best possible emergency care in a timely manner, Animal Emergency Center of Tulsa has several policies in place that we adhere to. If you have any questions about our policies, please Contact Us.
Because we are an "emergency-only" veterinary hospital, we do not schedule appointments. However, we do ask that you call us prior to bringing your pet to us for medical care so we can be better prepared to treat them. Upon your arrival to our hospital, your pet will be triaged by one of our technicians.
All emergency cases are seen first and receive top priority! The most critical cases are taken to the treatment area for immediate stabilization. Although wait times vary and depend on the number of other pets being treated, we thoroughly examine ALL patients and treat them to the best of our ability, regardless of their condition.
We provide a financial estimate of your pet’s care prior to treating them. Payment is required at the time services are rendered. We do not offer any billing options. If your pet is being hospitalized, we require a deposit in advance (usually approximately 75% of the total bill). For your convenience, we accept:
We understand how worrisome it can be to have to leave your pet with us for emergency care. That’s why we gladly welcome your visits while your pet is hospitalized in our facility, if our caseload isn’t high. Please call prior to your visit. You are also welcome to call us at any time to check your pet’s progress or ask any questions. Part of our goal is to make you as comfortable and informed as possible while your pet is in our care. We will notify you if your pet’s condition worsens, to request permission to perform additional tests, or to give different treatments than were discussed on the treatment plan. Our doctors and nurses are committed to providing your pet with high-quality veterinary health care, and we consider it an honor and privilege to serve your pet and you.
