Dr. Chad Powers
Dr. Powers grew up in Owasso and graduated from Owasso High School in 2000. He is a 2008 graduate of Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He moved to Alaska with his wife Kristin after graduation and enjoyed four years working within a general veterinary practice. With a little one on the way, they moved back to Oklahoma in 2012 to be close to family. After going back to work in general practice for a time, he made a move to emergency veterinary medicine with the Animal Emergency Center in February of 2014. Though new to emergency medicine, he thoroughly enjoys the types of cases he gets to see. Dr. Powers is interested in ultrasound and critical care management. He lives in Jenks with his wife, Kristin, their son, Lucas; and their newborn daughter, Josephine. Sharing his home are two cats, two dogs, two Ball pythons, and a Tokay Gecko. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, backpacking, and hiking.
